From Tokyo - Narita Airport
Nagano Snow Shuttle
The Nagano Snow Shuttle offers services between both Narita Airport and Haned Airport to Nozawa Onsen
There are 2-3 return trips per day.
Adults fares are 10,300yen per person, while children are 7,250yen per person

Shared Taxi Van
Shared Van Transfer from Narita and Haneda Airports.
Connections are available for all flights.
Adults are 13,900yen, while children are 10,250yen.
This is a door to door service, but you may have to wait a short while until the van fills up

Train - JR
The easiest route from Narita Airport is the following steps:
1. Narita Express from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station (approx 1 hr 15 min)
2. Hokuriku Shinkansen Bullet Train from Tokyo Station to Iiyama Station (approx 2 hours)
3. Nozawa Onsen Liner Bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (approx 25 minutes)
Memo
1. Buy one ticket all the way through to Iiyama at Narita Airport.
2. Transfer at Tokyo Station can be difficult if you hit rush hour or are carrying a lot of luggage (600m+ walk)
3. You can only take the "Hakutaka" Train on this line. The other trains ("Asami" & "Kagayaki" do not stop at Iiyama Station. There is only train per hour.
4. The Nozawa Onsen Liner bus does not connect with every Hakutaka Train. Last shuttle is 20:20.
5. Allow about 6 hours from the time your flight arrives at Narita Airport to make this transfer (to clear customs and transfer between trains etc)
From Tokyo - Haneda Airport
Nagano Snow Shuttle
From the 2015-16 season the Nagano Snow Shuttle will be offering transfers between Haneda Airport and Nozawa Onsen.
There is 1 return trip per day.
Adults fares are 10,300yen per person, while children are 7,7250yen per person

Train - JR
The easiest route from Haneda Airport is the following steps:
1. Tokyo Monorail from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsu-Cho Station (approx 25 min)
2. JR Yamanote Loop Line to Tokyo Station. (10-15 minutes)
3. Hokuriku Shinkansen Bullet Train from Tokyo Station to Iiyama Station (approx 2 hours)
4. Nozawa Onsen Liner Bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (approx 25 minutes)
Memo

3. Nozawa Onsen Liner Bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (approx 25 minutes)
Memo
If travelling with non reserved seats, it is better to go to Tokyo Station, as the train starts from there, and you have a better chance of getting seats if the train is full.
From Nagoya & Centrair Airport

Connections are available for all flights.
Adults are 14,850yen, while children are 10,900yen.

2. Follow the signs to Shinakansen (Bullet Train) Tracks
From Shin Osaka Station to Nozawa Onsen
1. Nozomi Shinkansen (Bullet Train) from Shin Osaka Station to Nagoya Station 2. JR Shinano Express from Nagoya Station to Nagano Station
3. Bus from Nagano Station to Nozawa Onsen
